The Texas State Board of Education has a responsibility to ensure that public school curricula remain neutral and inclusive, reflecting the diversity of beliefs in our state. However, the board’s new Bluebonnet Learning Handbook K-5, with its disproportionate emphasis on Christianity, fails to meet this standard, risking constitutional violations and promoting imbalance. By signing this petition, you’re urging the Texas Education Board to adopt a fair, balanced, and secular approach to teaching world religions, ensuring that all students receive an unbiased education.
